2026 Idenau Health Campaign — medical outreach in Limbe Health District, Cameroon

Saint Charles Medical Foundation (SCMF) has partnered with the Buea‐University Medical Students’ Association (BMSA) for the 2026 Idenau Health Campaign, taking place 2nd–9th August 2026. This initiative aims to “contribute to improving health care to internally displaced people (IDPs) and the general population of Idenau and its environs.” Together, we target critical challenges such as malaria, typhoid, NCDs, STIs, NTDs, poor sanitation, and limited access to specialized care.

Key Medical Activities

Medical & Surgical Consultations

General consultations, minor surgeries, and specialized follow-ups for chronic conditions.

Screenings

HIV, hepatitis, syphilis, diabetes, hypertension, and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).

Treatment of Tropical Diseases

Malaria, typhoid, and other endemic illnesses with free medication and follow-up.

Antenatal Care & Nutrition

ANC, vitamin supplementation, and maternal health support for expectant mothers.

Health Education

Hygiene, sanitation, malaria prevention, family planning, and disease awareness sessions.

Humanitarian Support

Direct aid to IDPs and underprivileged families including relief items and referrals.

SCMF Contribution

100,000 FCFA
Cash grant + essential medications valued at 250,000 FCFA

Supporting free consultations, diagnostics, treatments, minor surgeries, ANC, and health education for vulnerable groups.

Enabling a full week of intensive community health services across Idenau, Batoke, Bakingili, Sanje, Debunscha, and Njonji.
