St. Charles Medical Foundation is offering free vocational training to young people affected by crisis or poverty. This program equips participants with practical, in-demand skills to help them become self-sufficient and build a path toward stable employment.

Skills Offered

Makeup

Learn professional makeup application techniques for everyday looks, events, and bridal styling.

Tailoring

Master garment construction, pattern making, alterations, and sewing machine operation.

Hairdressing or Wig Installation

Training in hair styling, treatments, wig making, and professional installation techniques.

Nail Technician

Develop skills in manicure, pedicure, nail art, gel application, and salon hygiene practices.

Mechanics

Hands-on training in vehicle maintenance, engine repair, diagnostics, and mechanical systems.

Barbering

Learn cutting, shaving, beard grooming, and customer service skills for the barbershop industry.

Baking and Pastries

Gain practical skills in bread making, cake decoration, pastry preparation, and food safety.

Plumbing

Learn pipe fitting, water system installation, fixture repair, and essential plumbing techniques.

Eligibility

  • Must not be in school
  • Must be 15 to 25 years of age
  • Must be affected by the crisis or poverty
